Hey Everyone, I know this may seem a little strange as I live in the U.K. and over here Mothers Day is over. So, the reason behind this post is because I had taken these photos with the intentions on doing a post for Mothers Day in the U.K. but unfortunately never got round to posting it.
Then it came to me… Mothers Day hasn’t happened in the U.S yet! YAY! so, here are a few cheap gift ideas. As I do live in the U.K. all these gifts were bought over here and may not be available in America but I thought whoever likes these ideas could maybe try to recreate them or find alternatives.
These aren’t just for Mothers Day though, they could be for Birthdays/Christmas or maybe just a surprise gift to show the special lady in your life how much you love and appreciate her.
*If there is someone reading this that maybe doesn’t have the Mother in their life or she has sadly passed away, please know I am incredibly sorry for your loss and in no way wish to upset you with this post*

‘All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my Mother.’
1. Wine Glass – £1!
So, this is for the Mothers that maybe like a cheeky glass of wine. I found this really cute Best Mum Ever wine glass from the pound shop! Yes, you read that correctly. THE POUND SHOP! I was so surprised and my mum loves it.
The wine glass behind is a bit difficult to see, but, it is engraved with a feather. I purchased that one of Etsy (in came in a 2 set) for a pretty penny but on the back off one glass it says ‘feathers appear when…’ and on the other ‘angels are near’. I really love that quote as I truly believe it, and my mum adores it too. (note the half empty bottle of the wine in the background LOL).
2. Mothers Day Card – 59p
If you maybe can’t afford a present, why not see if you can find a lovely card and write a personalised message inside. I know my mum would be so grateful to receive a card that I had personally written for her.
3. Photo Album – £1
Now this I really love and if I was a mum, would love to receive. I found this gorgeous photo album again in the Pound Shop! And I don’t know about anyone else but I’m constantly taken pictures and printing them. I have photos scattered all over the house. So, what I done was went around and found some lovely photos I know my mum loves of me and her, Her and my Brother, the dogs, my nanny etc.. and popped them in, simple. She loves it. (enjoy this cute photo of me and my beautiful mum on her hen night)
4. Memory Box – £1
I’m telling you, the pound shop is the place to be lol. How absolutely precious is this. a simple wooden box with a quote on the inside and blank pieces of card to write your own personalised memories. I adore this idea.
5. Photo Frame – £1.99
This is one of mine and my mums favourites. We found this is a random wee shop and my mum just really loved it. We currently have it sitting on our fireplace, front and centre. I got a HP sprocket for Christmas, so, I just printed adorable photos of the dogs out and placed them along the line. Turns out the HP sprocket photos are the perfect size for this.
6. Decorative Tray – £3.99
My Mum seen this in a card shop and again fell in love, so of course I had to buy it for her. Its so simple but really beautiful. I have actually started using it as a prop for photos lol. Also the flowers I have sitting on the tray were from the same card shop for £2.99.
Ok, so there are a few cheap gift ideas that I hope you enjoyed and hopefully got some inspiration from. I also think if your Mum enjoys reading, buying her a bought from an Author she enjoys would be a good idea. That’s what my Brother bought mum, along with some other things.
Here is a wee setup I have sitting on the fireplace, simply because I think it looks really nice lol. I have since taken the prices off everything.
